Colorado Elopement Packages
Eloping shouldn’t be more stressful than planning a wedding.
I’m here to keep your day stress-free!
I keep things simple with flat-rate packages — no hidden fees for travel, early ceremonies, or photo access. You’ll get fully edited, high-res photos, and while I recommend printing through me for top quality, you’re free to print wherever you like!
My Colorado elopement photography packages are fully customizable because no two elopements are the same. There are no limits on location or timing. Need more hours, a multi-day event, or a hike to your spot? I’m in! Just let me know, and we’ll plan your perfect day.
The only thing to note is that I don’t do elopements under 4 hours. Why? Because your whole adventure elopement deserves to be captured! I’m all about documenting the full experience, not just a quick ceremony. Need ideas for your day? I’ve got one or two.

Your Elopement FAQs
-
Let’s chat and sort it out! We’ll discuss your activities, location, and create an elopement timeline based on your vision. Plan for at least 4 hours, as I only cover elopements of 4+ hours to capture the entire adventure. Need more time? No problem — I’m here to make sure your day is perfect and every moment is captured.

On occasion I will take on a larger wedding of around 100-150 people; however, this is rare, and I only accept large weddings that I feel I’m a good fit for. If you’re having a wedding that’s a bit too large to be considered a micro wedding, reach out anyways and let’s talk and see if we’re a good fit for one another!
-
With very few exceptions, the answer is no. I keep things intimate by avoiding too many cameras. Multiple photographers can make things feel staged, and we want your day to be relaxed, not feel like a paparazzi frenzy. Honestly, second shooters are almost always unnecessary, even at large weddings! I’ve found I’m able to get all of the shots and angles needed on my own.
-
Only for an emergency situation where I’m unable to attend the elopement last minute. I pride myself on photographing every elopement myself whenever possible. I actually don’t believe in using contracted associates because it feels unethical. If my business grows and I need extra photographers, they’ll be full-time, well-compensated team members with benefits!
-
It depends on where you’re tying the knot and what you want. In Colorado, Wisconsin, or D.C., you don’t need one. I’m an ordained Colorado wedding officiant and can handle it if you’d like! For other states, an officiant and sometimes witnesses are required. If you want to skip this step, you can get legally married at a courthouse before your elopement and have a symbolic ceremony on the day of your elopement.
-
For sure! Not mentioned but always included in your elopement photography packages is basic planning assistance. I’m not a wedding planner, but I’m happy to recommend vendors, suggest great places I’ve worked at, and help create a timeline with the best lighting for photos.
-
Absolutely! While permit costs aren’t included in my prices and I don’t apply for them on your behalf, I can share what I know about the area and the process. Permit rules can vary widely, so if you’re stuck navigating the ropes, just let me know, and we’ll sort it out together.
-
Of course! That’s totally my jam. I love helping couples find perfect locations that are not only gorgeous in photos but also nice and private, away from tourists and onlookers.
-
Hiking offers stunning, less crowded locations for your elopement, especially in Colorado, but it’s not a must for your experience. If you dream of an epic hike, embrace it — I think a dirty dress hem and hiking boots are cute as hell!
Of course, hiking in a dress can be tricky, so you can change at the destination instead. I’ve got tips on packing a bouquet, keeping your dress from getting wet or wrinkled, keeping your hair and makeup on point.

Colorado's weather is famously unpredictable, but we’ll only cancel if it’s dangerous. “Bad” weather often makes for unique photos — wildfire smoke can enhance sunsets, and rain adds mood. Also, if it rains, just wait 20 minutes; it usually clears. For extreme conditions, we can reschedule or find a backup spot. I always have a few alternative locations in mind.
-
Yeah, definitely! But only up to 15 people. More than that and your elopement turns it into a micro wedding, which complicates things on public lands or at an Airbnb. For larger groups, consider eloping in a national park or in developed spots that can accommodate more guests.
-
You’ll get your photos back in 4-6 weeks. Sneak peeks aren’t included in the contract, but if you’re itching for some shots sooner, just let me know! I can send you a handful of pics within a week of the wedding.
-
I deliver your photos via an online gallery link sent to your email. You can share this link with friends and family so they can download the photos too. The link stays active for 30 days, so make sure to download everything before then. You can also use the gallery’s store to print photos if you want, but you’re free to print them anywhere else too.
-
You’ll typically get 50-100 photos per hour of coverage. So, for an 8-hour elopement, you can expect around 400-800 edited photos in total. The exact number depends on the day’s events and timing.
-
I’m happy to book up to 2 years in advance, but I’ve also done elopements with just a month’s notice. Most couples book around 6 months out, so if you have a specific date, reach out sooner rather than later. September and July are especially busy!
