Hi, I’m Katie

I was born and raised in Colorado, and now live a semi nomadic life between Colorado and the PNW in my van photographing elopements and weddings in wild places all over the world.

I switched to elopements from traditional weddings, because I wanted to be involved in genuine moments that didn’t feel like a production. I wanted to help couples make a day that really focuses on them. I wanted to focus on the experience of the day and how it feels to be there.

If you want a day that focuses on the raw, real emotion of your day, the little details, and in-between moments somewhere that takes your breath away, then you’re right where you’re supposed to be. I’m here for the couples who choose feeling over tradition.

She spent the time to drive to our location the day before our ceremony (up a treacherous mountain 4x4 trail!) and scout out perfect locations for us. She took a bunch of gorgeous landscape photos that day as well when she had time without us.
