Peyto Lake Elopement in Banff

Bethany and Josiah are both from Calgary and met when they were just little kids at summer camp. They grew up together and got to know each other more and more through the years, and after dating for years and years since they were in middle school, they finally decided to make it official and get married. We walked the short hike from the parking lot to the view of Peyto lake, and then went down to a spot where no one else was around. the weather had been raining on and off all day, but we managed to get a moment where everything was dry and the views were clear. Petty lake is the perfect spot fro an elopement and one of the most stunning places around Banff and Jasper with it’s milky blue glacial waters. We read some vows, twirled around, danced, and headed home after a simple sweet time with the two of them.
