Wild Basin Lodge Spring Wedding
I took Nanci and Trevor’s engagements in the fall, and I got to be a part of their intimate wedding at Wild Basin Lodge the following spring to celebrate with all their closest friends and family on a wet, foggy, mountain day. Nanci decided to go the non-traditional route with her dress and wore a silky, satin little number instead of the traditional white. All the wedding party dressed in black, which fit the moody weather perfectly. Nanci surprised Trevor by putting together little pins with a photo of he and his groomsmens’ recently deceased friend, so he could be a part of the day, too. Trevor also surprised Nanci by putting together a one of a kind song for her to walk down the isle to- all the lyrics were about how they met and their life together up until that point. To say the moms’ eyes were misty would be an understatement. The guests blew bubbles all during the ceremony and were greeted by alpacas before and after they entered the ceremony site. It was a fun, unique, quirky day that made even a small group of people seem like a real party.
