Crested Butte Sunrise Wedding

Macy and Mark hiked the trail that goes between the Maroon Bells in Aspen to the Gothic Valley in Crested Butte the previous summer, and decided they wanted a wildflower filled wedding together the following year, so they decided to tie the knot in Crested Butte. They started the day bright and early at around 4 in the morning to get ready. They got ready in separate cabins in town, and met up on one of the backroads in Crested Butte for their first look just as the sun was coming up. The two finally got to see each other in the daylight, and exchanged a sweet greeting and a couple gifts before heading to a different location to read their private vows to one another. They read sweet vows with just the two of them in the valley just before the sun came up. After the sun rose, they headed to the lake where they had a small breakfast picnic before both their families showed up for a ceremony with everyone involved. Macy’s aunt officiated the ceremony, they signed their marriage license, and did both a real champagne toast and a little tennis ball toast, since they bonded over tennis when they were dating. After everybody had spent the afternoon chilling and napping, their families gathered again for a little reception/dinner at Sunflower Cafe.
