It’s my personal belief that if you are going to be spending an entire day with someone, walking into remote wilderness with them, and letting them capture your most precious memories, you should probably get to know and trust the person in charge of all that.

So hey! I’m Katie! I was born and raised in Colorado, so I’m your girl if you’re looking for a place to elope. I spend the majority of my time in Colorado hanging out in the San Juan mountains and exploring all of the western slope.

I’ll help you create your perfect elopement

I’m not a wedding planner, and I don’t do nearly all the wonderful work they do or have nearly as many connections, but I can help guide you through the basics of your day, and give you suggestions of things I love that other couples have done.

Location Scouting

Whether you’re looking to trek 10 miles to a remote alpine lake in Telluride to say your vows, or take a scenic drive with epic mountain views, I’ll know a place that’s beautiful and less known to tourists

Timeline Help

I’ll give my two cents with compiling a timeline that doesn’t feel rushed and lets you soak in every moment from your elopement day as well as info on when the best times for photos will be and how to plan around a certain location.

Vendor Recs

It’s a bit difficult sometimes to find vendors that accommodate smaller weddings and remote locations, so I have a list of various elopement vendors all over Colorado as well as vendors that are more unique to the industry that I’m happy to share to make your day easier.

Beautiful Photos

Last but not least, of course I’ll be photographing all of the beautiful and intimate parts of your day from the big things down to the little inbetween moments and small details (of course I’ll help direct you, because most of us aren’t models!)

Contact
You get in touch with me, we chat on the phone about what you’re dreaming of for your wedding day, what you have questions about, and just to get to know one another a little bit. Hopefully by the end, we’ll both know whether we’re right for each other.

Plan
Once you’re sure I’m the photographer for you, you and your partner will sign a contract, put down a deposit, and we’ll start setting your plans in stone. I can give you elopement location ideas, venues in Colorado, help you build your wedding timeline, recommend vendors, and help keep your day as stress-free as possible.
Elope
You actually carry out the plans you’ve had for months! Get all ready, tell your partner how much you love them, say some vows, sign some papers, and spend your day doing the things you love most someplace beautiful.
