White Sands Elopement

I’d been wanting to plan a shoot using iridescent elements for a while now, and Fran and Mason were down to travel all the way down from Colorado to southern New Mexico to do just that! The two of them are so goofy and fun, taking photos of them playing in the white gypsum sand was so easy, I hardly even had to pose them. I specifically chose the pastel pinks and purples of their outfits to match the hues present within the landscape, and the colors of the sunset did not disappoint in that regard. We spent the evening jumping off dunes, staring at the moon, and taking in the quiet sunset, feeling like we were on the moon itself.
