Crested Butte Wildflower Elopement

Dana and Arthur met while they were both in Indianapolis, but they’d always loved the west, so they built out their truck to take it on roadtrips, and eventually lived in it full time for about a year. They traveled all over the US, and found a little town in Montana where they wanted to move full time after they got married. While they were traveling, though, they passed through Crested Butte, which was one of their favorite destinations, so they decided they wanted to elope with just their immediate family at the peak time of year for wildflowers. So they spent the morning getting ready, writing their vows out separately, and driving up to the remote lake where they planned to say their vows. They did a first look, said some sweet vows where everyone in attendance was crying, and celebrated with lots and lots of kisses and a bit of champagne. We spent the rest of the day exploring the area, frolicking through fields of flowers, taking in the sunset after a day full of so much anticipation and emotion.
