Lost Gulch Sunrise Elopement

Sara and Nick eloped at the courthouse during the pandemic without much fuss, but they wanted to commemorate their marriage a little more officially, so for their anniversary, we headed out to Boulder to take some photos at sunrise with the Flatirons and Lost Gulch. The natural areas of Boulder are all pretty popular trails for hiking and sight seeing, so Sara and Nick decided to beat the crowds by waking up at the crack of dawn. Nick got a first look at Sara in her mom’s necklace and a beautiful BHLDN dress with the moon as their witness just as the sun was coming up over the horizon. Like true winter Colorado fashion, the wind was blowing like no ones business and we froze our butts off, but it was worth it. We got to hang out with their sweet pups (who were dressed up in these bandanas), watch the sun rise, and traipse around some rocky cliffs in the mountains in the name of love.

It can sometimes be a little difficult to find florists willing to put together small orders for elopements, but Fawns Leap in Boulder came in clutch with the boutonnière and bouquet this time around.
